Who couldn’t use a little rest and relaxation from time to time? We live in a fast-paced, stressful world, and some good ole’ R&R for the mind, body, and spirit is often just what the doctor ordered.
The question is, what’s the best way or place to relax? Some people meditate, get massages, workout, and the list goes on and on with possibilities. While those are all well and good in their own way, there’s a place in California that we think you’ll agree looks like it’s meant for some all-time relaxation.
If you live in Southern California or fancy a vacation, consider heading to this amazing mud bath that’s remote, private, and unknown by many. Some people are calling it California’s best-kept secret and we don’t think they’re far off.
Imagine soaking in a red clay mud bath that soothes your muscles and completely vacates your mind of all its stresses and anxieties. If you’ve seen popular television show “Suits,” then you’re likely already familiar with the “mudding” phenomenon that lawyer Lewis Litt regularly indulges in.
The mud bath in focus is located at the Glen Ivy Hot Springs, a spa retreat in Corona. It’s hidden away on a lush property that features 17-acres of amazing garden paths which will totally calm your mind and spirit. This whole property is a sanctuary away from the day-to-day stresses that plague us all. While the property is incredible, the mud bath tops it all!
The mudding space is cleverly called “Club Mud,” and we think it more than lives up to its moniker. Not only is it a rejuvenating mud bath, it’s also a place you can enjoy with a group of friends. There are a few instructions for the therapeutic red clay treatment, but it’s all very straightforward and not too labor intensive.
If you’re wondering if this is just average old mud from the side of the road, fear not! The mud in Club Mud is a specialty mixture of Glen Ivy’s naturally occurring mineral water and dry clay from the local Temescal Valley. As impressive as those ingredients are, you won’t care in the least where it’s from when you feel how good it is.

Besides the mud pool, you can also check out some of the relaxation looks to lounge away the day, or visit the normal pool and enjoy a beverage of your choosing.
Feel like a trip to the Glen Ivy Hot Springs in Corona? We don’t blame you! The packages are surprisingly reasonable, and you can check out all the specifics on the official Glen Ivy Hot Springs website.
