Queen Elizabeth II is the longest-reigning British monarch, holding power for 65 years. Prior to her long reign, her great-great-grandmother, Victoria, sat at the throne for 63 years. Elizabeth surpassed her on September 9th, 2015. In February 2017, Elizabeth celebrated her 65 years in power with Britain’s first ever Sapphire Jubilee.

On April 21, 2018, the queen will celebrate her 92nd birthday. As she gets older, we can’t help but think about what will come following her death. But until then, God Save the Queen!
